Late in the Game

I heard dates are nature's candy. Still, I had trouble believing that any fruit could truly satisfy my sugar cravings...

Until now. 

There are many recipes for vegan caramel. Not to brag, but the one I made is by far the easiest and the healthiest.

2-Ingredient Date Caramel Sauce:

1 cup of Sunsweet dates*

1 cup of maple syrup

Put all ingredients in a magic bullet or blender. Pulse until evenly blended.

This works great as an ice-cream topping, cake topping, fruit dip, or even just eating plain. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

*I like Sunsweet Brand because they are super soft and do not require soaking. If dates are not soft, soak over night in water.
